This degree is intended to supplement graduate studies in other fields. On completing this program you will receive the Applied Master of Science Degree. Normally you would then transfer back to your original field of study to complete your primary degree. The requirements for the different specializations vary; however, a total of nine units (courses) are required for the Applied M.S. degree with specialization. Students wishing information beyond that provided here should contact the Director of Graduate Studies in Statistics. > Prerequisites

> Course Requirements in Primary Field of Study In addition to the core Statistics courses selected above, 5 additional graduate courses must be completed in your primary field, in an area relevant to the field of Statistics. These courses are subject to approval by the Director of Graduate Studies in Statistics. > Course Substitutions It is possible to make substitutions for the core courses, but these require approval by the Director of Graduate Studies.
